At the same time, the incidence of joint swelling was considerably decreased.  A number of participants declared the results as appearing faster and being more effective than when using ibuprofen and other common chemical-based anti-inflammatory treatment options.

Another study, completed a year ago at the Institute of Pharmacology at the University of Tubingen in Germany, identified myrrh (commiphora molmol) extract exhibiting considerable anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties whenever it was applied locally to acute and chronic inflamed joints in individuals suffering from rheumatoid arthritis. The German study discovered that the myrrh extract considerably decreased swelling in the hands and legs.

    Summary: A mono-centric, randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical trial was carried out.     Summary: The study has found that lactoferrin stimulates the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts. Lactoferrin prevents apoptosis of osteoblasts, and stimulates the proliferation of chondrocytes. Lactoferrin potentially inhibits the creation of osteoclasts, but it doesn't inhibit the activity of mature osteoclasts. Lactoferrin accelerates bone growth in-vivo.
